What makes Austria so special? For Agenda Austria , Wolf Lotter, co-founder and essayist-in-chief of the German economy magazine brand eins and as such a successful Austrian expat, takes a look at this beautiful but not always so easy to fathom country from the other side of the border.

Together with his wife and co-author Katharina Lotter, he compiled a questionnaire on the state of the nation, which guides us through the activity report of Agenda Austria. The questions—just like the responses—are often quite surprising, not always pleasant, but always revealing, and an incorruptible test of what type of Austrian one really is.
